Position Summary: This Project Manager role will oversee a major student dormitory project as part of our modular construction initiatives. Key responsibilities include tracking budgets, coordinating with design and manufacturing teams, handling complex deliverables, and ensuring smooth financial and operational alignment using an ERP system. Candidates should bring significant project management experience in high-rise or modular construction, a strong understanding of supply chain logistics, and financial management skills. Key Responsibilities : Project Oversight Manage daily operations for a student dormitory project, comprising nine buildings over a seven-year timeline. Oversee all project management aspects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant progress. Be a lead point of contact, communicating directly with the client and general contractor. Provide daily and weekly updates and/or KPI reports to the executive team as it relates to project status. Budget and Financial Management Track project performance against the approved budget. Prepare and present financial reports, aligning project costs within the ERP system for full visibility. Coordinate closely with the accounting team to maintain financial accuracy and control. Contract and Change Order Management Manage and document change orders as they arise, keeping contracts current and aligned with evolving project needs. Facilitate the development and submission of documentation, working with subcontractors and vendors to ensure contract compliance. Scheduling and Timeline Tracking Develop and report on detailed project schedules, using Microsoft Project or a comparable scheduling tool. Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate timelines and adjust as necessary to maintain project momentum. Supply Chain and Scope Coordination Coordinate project requirements with the design team and reconcile scope changes with the supply chain and budget. Ensure all deliverables align with design specifications and manufacturing processes unique to modular construction. ERP Development and System Support Use the ERP (ODOO) to track project milestones, budgets, and financials. Collaborate with the implementation manager to support ERP development, ensuring accurate project data entry and financial tracking. Requirements: 7-10 years in project management, preferably within high-rise, multi-family, steel-frame projects valued over $30 million. Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing, supply chain processes, and financial management in a construction environment. Proficiency with ERP systems and scheduling software such as Microsoft Project. Strong financial acumen, capable of managing budget tracking and reporting in ERP systems. Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, such as Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management. Experience in writing comprehensive scopes of work for multiple trades and managing contract documentation. Preferred Qualifications: Project Management certification (PMI) is a plus, though not required. Candidate Profile : Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in modular or high-rise construction, with a strong background in managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects. They should be able to navigate the complexities of a manufacturing-based construction environment, work closely with supply chain and financial teams, and ensure project accuracy through precise documentation and ERP system usage. Please Note We are specifically looking for candidates with experience in large-scale modular or steel-frame construction. Candidates with experience in wood-frame, low-rise, or homebuilding construction will not be a match for this role.
