Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intellectual Property Paralegal to support attorneys at a law firm specializing in intellectual property law. This role focuses on systematic case management, document preparation, and maintaining detailed records. The ideal candidate will contribute to the overall efficiency of the firm by delivering high-quality assistance under tight deadlines, handling correspondence, and managing the firm's docket. Key Responsibilities: Monitor, coordinate, and manage case work, correspondence, and document production Maintain and organize legal records and files for easy accessibility Handle docketing, submissions, proofreading, and filing of legal documents Utilize online platforms (USPTO, LexisNexis, etc.) to support legal research and filings Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues, ensuring clear and accurate information exchange Perform additional administrative tasks as required, including responding to requests and following up on deadlines Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree or related Vocational School Diploma Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and online platforms including USPTO.gov, sos.state.co.us, LexisNexis, and postal services Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills Organizational Skills: Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle challenging situations or individuals Required Knowledge and Experience: 3-5 years of patent prosecution experience Knowledge of IP administration or management, especially within a private company Additional Requirements: We are looking for a professional interested in a long-term commitment, dedicated to personal and professional growth, and eager to contribute to firm-wide process improvements. Salary: $52,000-$72,800/yr.
