2nd Shift Electrician Base Pay of $38.80 (more based on experience) $2.00 Shift Bonus $2.00 shift differential (hours worked between 2pm-6am) Manufacturer of Premium Meat Products in Fort Atkinson Jones Dairy Farm, a family owned and operated business for over 130 years, is searching for an Electrician on 2nd shift . This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who can demonstrate critical thinking abilities, self-reliance, initiative, drive and the ability to work in a team environment. Position Summary: Ensure the continued functioning of electrical equipment by its proper installation, maintenance, and repair. Work as part of a team to improve plant reliability and efficiency. Daily communication with the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Planner to improve plant reliability. Responsibilities: Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and demos the electrical parts of industrial equipment and facilities Provide safe, reliable and efficient operation by observing the local, state, and national electrical-code regulations that pertain to the work being done Log time and material usage into CMMS for PMs and corrective maintenance Assists in supporting the company's preventative maintenance program Maintain proper housekeeping in all areas Assist in other areas of plant maintenance as required All other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: Display skills equivalent to that of a Journeyman Electrician; Specifically, but not limited to: Installing and repairing electrical components such as electrical panels, breakers, wiring systems, and controls Bending and installing conduit Pulling wire for installs Installing an array of fixtures Threading and installing hanging anchors Cleaning circuit boards and contacts Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc. Electrical troubleshooting knowledge Ability to understand schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents Knowledgeable in pertinent electrical codes and regulations Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers at all levels Must exemplify the ability to work with minimal supervision. Self-motivated.
