THE ROLE: Senior Engineer Business Intelligence - Tableau Job Summary: As a Senior Engineer Business Intelligence, you will be responsible for understanding the data analytics requirements for clients, building dashboards and reports using best-of-breed BI tools Travel Requirements: This position does not require any travel Job Responsibilities: Design, build, and support BI applications for analytical reporting. Analyze data, design, and develop reporting applications using BI technologies. Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and translate them to technical specifications. Migrate BI reports from the Cognos reporting platform to Tableau. Adhere to lean agile methodologies. Production Support including troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work on multiple projects and flexibility to change priorities when needed. Required Skills: Proficient in BI technologies - Tableau, Qlik Sense, PowerBI Expert level skill in Dashboard UI design and data modeling using Tableau Expert-level skills with Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring, troubleshooting, data source management). Proficient in Creating and editing SQL queries within Tableau to build calculated fields. Proficient in creating interactive filters, parameters, and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau. Expertise in building and publishing interactive dashboards on the Tableau Server. Proficient with SQL and ETL to build data pipelines to support BI reporting Strong problem solving and data analysis skills. Additional Desired Skills: Experience in other BI tools like Cognos, Microstrategy is a plus. Experience in working with databases such as Snowflake, Redshift Experience in working with AWS cloud technologies.
