Artificial Intelligence is at the heart of Uber’s products and powers many user experiences in the Eater, Rider, and Earner apps! We use AI to create efficient marketplace and pricing algorithms, powerful safety mechanisms, as well as improved earnings opportunities. The Applied AI team at Uber is a multidisciplinary team of ML Engineers, Applied Scientists, Researchers, Backend Engineers, Mobile Engineers, and AI Product Managers responsible for building Uber’s Machine Learning platform. We're developing compelling AI-driven user-facing experiences, and leading innovation in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Personalization & Recommendations, Marketplace Optimization, and Generative AI. As a PM focusing on Generative AI Applications, you will be driving innovative AI-driven product experiences in close partnership with a variety of product teams across Uber. Responsibilities
Develop, articulate and execute a bold and visionary product strategy and roadmap for Generative AI products. Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, and design) to define product requirements (PRDs), prioritize features, and deliver high-quality products that meet user needs and drive business objectives. Stay up-to-date with the latest AI industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation across Uber. Qualifications
3+ years of direct Product Management experience delivering highly successful conversational AI products at scale. Super strong technical background, preferably in AI/ML space. We don’t expect you to code, but you should feel comfortable discussing deep technical topics with engineering teams and the platform users. Data-driven decision-making ability and a "driver" personality for pushing toward clarity and balancing the need for great teamwork. Benefits
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$174,000 per year - USD$193,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of compensation. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
