National Director of Marketing and Digital Enablement

General Description:
Critical leader in our sales and marketing team, helping to increase prospect engagement and conversion across USI. Responsible for the strategy and implementation of corporate business development initiatives. Assist with marketing automation platform. Train regional sales enablement teams on how to effectively utilize our sales tools. Responsibilities: Collaborate with key stakeholders to guide digital transformation initiatives for sales and marketing. In partnership with the VP National Marketing Strategy, drive the digital transformation of marketing and sales. Align strategies to boost productivity and engagement. Align USI marketing campaigns with sales execution, ensuring that teams are supported with the tools and resources needed to succeed in a digital-first approach. Aid in evolving sales teams into the new era of social and insight driven selling. Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive sales engagement programs. Ensure alignment with the company’s broader business goals. Proactively own and execute programs that drive productivity and efficiency of the regional sales enablement teams and sales leaders. Provide end-to-end digital marketing programs that drive sales results. Strategize and develop national business development events/webinars in partnership with the national team and the regional sales enablement specialist teams. Increase new business growth and retention. Oversee training and provide leadership to the regional sales enablement specialists. Ensure they are equipped to utilize marketing and sales tools effectively. Help rollout targeted marketing and sales programs in coordination with sales and marketing teams. Collaborate with VP National Marketing Strategy and National Digital Marketing Ops Manager to establish sales & marketing metrics and KPIs. Assist with reporting. Provide regular analytics to constituents to guide strategy discussions and resources. Partner with corporate business initiatives team to incorporate sales and marketing data into the company’s sales automation processes and system (Microsoft Dynamic CRM, Snowflake, Marketo). Participate in development and execution of USI’s innovation agenda as set forth by executive team. Lead the national marketing team on digital content strategy. Includes managing the company’s thought leadership programs and online presence. Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, regional and national. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 7+ years in digital marketing and/or marketing experience supporting executive level. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications preferred. Expertise with robust digital marketing and social platforms; Marketo, Optimizely preferred. Experience in developing multi-channel marketing and sales growth strategies. Demonstrated ability of implementing B2B multi-channel marketing, sales processes, and top of funnel development. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate across departments in a matrix environment. Data-driven mindset, with a proven track record of using analytics to drive strategy and performance improvements. Exceptional communication skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office products. Experience with salesforce management/CRM systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics. Acute attention to detail and a drive to ensure adherence to policy and procedures. Strong self-discipline to complete projects, while budgeting time to meet additional deadlines and immediate needs of producers and management. Experience training others. Physical Demands: Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment with minimal noise and limited to no exposure to chemicals or toxins. Employees operate office equipment including telephone headset, computer, computer monitors, keyboard, mouse, copier, scanner, and mail machine. Physical tasks of job include driving, walking, sitting, standing, bending, and typing. Analysis of Physical Demands: Occasionally (25% of time) work performed requires employees to drive to client appointments or offices, have repetitive foot movements, walk on uneven or slippery surfaces to and from work and occasionally reach outward to grab things and bend.
