ERP Finance Project Management Office (PMO) Lead

Full-time The ERP Finance Project Management Office (PMO) Lead is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and oversight of ERP finance initiatives within the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in project management, finance operations, and ERP systems to ensure that financial projects align with organizational goals and deliver maximum value.

This is a hybrid position, and candidates need to be located in the DMV area. Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end ERP finance projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation. Facilitate project meetings, defining agendas, capturing action items, and following up on deliverables. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing concerns. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies to enhance financial processes through ERP systems. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices related to finance operations. Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new ERP solutions and processes. Conduct training sessions and workshops for finance personnel to ensure effective usage of the ERP system. Performance Monitoring: Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess project performance and impact on finance operations. Monitor project outcomes and ensure alignment with organizational finance objectives. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of project methodologies, plans, and outcomes. Prepare regular reports for senior management on project status, budget use, and overall efficacy. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in Project Management, particularly in finance or ERP implementation. Strong understanding of ERP systems, financial processes, and data management. Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management certification is highly desirable. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Key competencies are strategic thinking, problem solving, attention to detail, adaptability, and team collaboration.
