Vault is on the hunt for a talented Operations Supervisor to join our Crowd Control & Events team alongside our current Operations Supervisor. The Crowd Control Operations Supervisor is a key field leadership role responsible for inspiring and leading diverse teams across multiple sites. This position entails supervising team performance, coordinating service delivery, mobilisation of staff, and managing operational resources. Supervisors work alternate weeks on ensuring compliance with safety standards and providing frontline leadership to the field team, offering feedback, support, and training. This role is integral to the success of Vault Protective Security Services’ operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ensuring safety and excellence across all projects. The role is based in our Subiaco office on an
8 days on 6 days off
roster (that's every second weekend off!) with a handover on the Monday. The role alternates with the current Crowd Control Supervisor. Key Responsibilities
Leadership : Provide guidance to field staff to ensure compliance, team performance, and operational efficiency. Client Relationships : Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, proactively resolving service issues and ensuring our service exceeds client expectations. Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) rules and regulations. Operational Oversight : Manage daily operations, respond to incidents, and monitor service delivery to meet client expectations. Continuous Improvement : Drive process improvements and performance enhancements across operational areas. Team Development : Identify and address training needs, deliver feedback, coaching, & mentoring to foster a high-performance culture. Compliance & Auditing : Conduct audits and inspections, ensuring adherence to procedures and standards. Required Qualifications
Cert II in Security Operations WA Security Officer Licence WA Crowd Controller Licence WA Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Qualification Provide First Aid Certification WA Drivers Licence (C-Class) Key Skills & Experience
2 years experience leading security teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of OSH, security, and HR-related legislative requirements. Superior organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to negotiate effectively with stakeholders. Experience with managing staff, subcontractors, reporting, and timesheets. Unique Role Requirements
Alternating roster with a handover on the 8th day for the current Crowd Control Supervisor. Compliance with site-specific and commercial regulations, including the Liquor Licensing Act. Flexibility to manage out-of-hours calls and provide operational support during high-activity periods. Ability to work in various environmental conditions and handle physical tasks. Interviewing, selecting, and inducting new staff in suitable venues. Travel between multiple sites/venues/events over Friday & Saturday. Why Join Us?
