Warehouse Associate Job at Magneto & Diesel Injector Service Inc in Houston

The Warehouse Associate will work within the Cores Department and will assist other areas of the location as customer needs require.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Identify, sort, and package diesel engine parts
• Package and prepare shipments
• Shipping of packaged products
• Inventory control including:
  • Inspecting order accuracy before accepting vendor deliveries
  • Perform quality checks on inventory
  • Conduct cycle counts
  • Report discrepancies to leadership
  • Follow all company policies as it relates to Loss Prevention
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift experience a plus; ability to be certified on forklift
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
• Ability to understand verbal and written directions
• Ability to lift and carry to 50 lbs.
• Ability to repeat motions
• High attention to detail
• Follow all safety policies
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening
• Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment
