Project & Facilities Maintenance Manager
to project manage our new builds and assist with maintenance for our existing store network in WA. This is a stand-alone role working remotely which requires the ability for both strategic and hands-on general maintenance across sites. You have: Strong architectural and construction knowledge High attention to detail Exceptional time management, project coordination and organisational ability Ability and willingness to perform general 'handy-man' tasks Your role responsibilities will involve but not be limited to: Project Management: Partnering with developers to manage the delivery of new store builds with a particular focus on internal fit-outs to Starbucks standards, ensuring their timely completion in conjunction with agreed programme and budget parameters. Facilitate and grow strong relationships with local builders, developers and contractors. Ensure construction projects are executed with excellence and alignment with Starbucks design documentation, brand standards and operational requirements. Contract Management: Management and approval of capital budgets, value engineering, variations and contract administration. Contractor management, identification, review and ongoing development in line with our complex program of works. Contributing to the continuous improvement methodology around our brand and delivery models. Facilities Management: Support the existing store network (WA) in the day-to-day operations of reactive asset maintenance requests. Provide hands-on General Maintenance and Handyman tasks and repairs across sites within the region. Ensure compliance is adhered to and managed inline with budgeted financials. Qualifications: Preferably Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in related discipline – Project Management or Construction. 3+ years post-tertiary experience in related/similar role including experience managing retail construction projects, preferably within QSR or hospitality environment. Substantial knowledge of building practice, estimating, tendering and contracts. Ability to perform, hands-on general maintenance and ‘handyman’ tasks and repairs. Trade background highly regarded.
