Washington DC 1900 K St NW 5th Floor Washington, DC 20006, USA Senior Associate - Technology Policy Practice Working closely with the firm’s Technology Policy Lead, the ASG Tech Policy Practice Senior Associate will possess expertise in a range of industry, government, regulatory issues, trade, investment, and business trends in key global markets. Ideally, the candidate also has a grasp of a broad range of technology regulatory issues in China, the U.S., the EU, India, and other key markets of high interest to ASG and DGA clients. Semiconductor-related experience would be particularly useful. The successful candidate will interact directly with ASG and DGA clients, leading in the development of research products and client strategies, creativity, excellent writing skills, and an ability to work well within a fast-paced and energetic team. This position offers opportunities for further growth and advancement consistent with demonstrated performance. Duties and Responsibilities

Serves as a member of - and may lead, as assigned - several Technology Policy-focused client teams with a focus on overall strategy, research, and day-to-day internal coordination and client contact. The firm has a growing number of AI-focused clients, and this position will be structured so that the candidate will have a primary focus on engagements with these clients. Provides quality research, analysis, and writing for clients, driving development of client-related deliverables and managing other members of client teams. Demonstrates ongoing development of relevant technology policy expertise, professional network cultivation, and thought leadership on technology policy issues across key markets and regions. Supports active engagement with prospective Technology Policy practice clients and firm-wide business development opportunities. Core Competencies

Minimum of three to seven years of relevant professional experience, including time working on technology policy issues and/or living in other regions and key countries. Government or industry experience in technology policy, finance, or commercial industries is a plus. BA in political science, international relations, business, or related field, or equivalent experience, with MA in related field preferred. Strong writing, editing, research, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to think critically about research scope and content. Self-starting, with the ability to operate on both long-term and short-term projects without direct supervision, and a “can-do” attitude. About Us
