The Product Regulatory Compliance Specialist plays a key role in ensuring products and services meet global technical standards and regulations. This position guides compliance strategies, manages TRS certifications, and supports decision-making for new products and markets within the Valves operating unit. The role also involves cross-functional project management, engaging with various teams to address certification challenges and maintain regulatory compliance across product lines.
As a Product Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring regulatory compliance of end-destination use for products & services, applied typically to equipment, software, and personnel. Advising management regarding Technical Regulations & Standards (TRS) matters for the Valves operating unit, including management of TRS certifications and compliance strategy for new products/new markets. Handling communication with colleagues and business leaders about policy changes and implementation. Acting frequently as a cross-functional certification and issues-resolution project manager in projects involving the business and multiple product lines.

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in Engineering. Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in product Technical Regulations and Standards (TRS), or equivalent regulatory compliance with product certifications (e.g., PED, ATEX, ASME, CUTR, REACH, etc.). Able to fluently speak and write in English. Have strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and leadership skills, and demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects and established project management skills. Be a global team player with the ability and flexibility to work across multiple time zones. Preferably possess technical knowledge of Valve product lines. Preferably be qualified to lead or conduct TRS audits. Preferably be able to review and clear ITC and TRS blocks/issues in ValvStream and SAP.

The annual pay scale for this position is between $128,200.00 - $238,000.00. Candidates for this role (office-based/hybrid/remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes' good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-biased competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time.
