Office Assistant

We are looking for a positive and energetic self-starter to fill the role of Office Assistant. The person we are seeking must be dependable, responsible and able to work at a fast pace while always being able to occupy yourself with new tasks as needed. You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues. You must also be a team player with a solid work ethic who is always prompt, on time and committed to maintaining consistent work attendance. It will also be important that you display exceptional attention to detail and solid organizational skills. You must also be articulate, have strong verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.

Duties:

• Perform order entry and maintain accurate records
• Receptionist duties to include answering telephones and providing information to callers about their accounts, products and services
• Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns and assist with service dispatch
• Provide general clerical support, such as filing, scanning, and data entry. Depending upon the specifics of your assignment, you may work in the front office in an admin/receptionist role, or you may provide administrative support to other departments as needed.
• Accounts Receivable, collections, cash application
• Customer Service
• Manage calendars and schedule appointments for staff members
• Support office management tasks, including inventory management and supply ordering

• Previous experience in customer service and accounts receivable
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Must be used to working under pressure with a sense of urgency, remain flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and phone etiquette
• Possess strong common sense and be a problem solver
• Proficient in using Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets)

This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
