is a highly-motivated, customer-centric leader, responsible for the organization's overall supply chain operations, including warehouse, shipping & receiving, purchasing and inventory of raw materials, selection of vendors, and distribution of finished goods. This position is also responsible for evaluating past performance data to forecast needs, inventory planning, and production scheduling. The

will establish, own, drive, and achieve all relevant key KPI/metric performance that supports the overall supply chain activities. As a member of the site Senior Leadership team as well as a member of the corporate group supply chain team, this individual is expected to provide top-level leadership within the organization on both a tactical and strategic level. Reports to General Manager. Responsibilities: Drive a culture of continuous improvement and cost reduction to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within a Lean Manufacturing environment. Oversee all direct and indirect purchasing spend. Effectively monitor stock levels to achieve 98% fill rates. Familiar with material provisioning models based on business forecasts. Inventory control (including but not limited to: levels, reductions, cycle counts, controls, storage, issuance, segregation & usage). Communicate with vendors to achieve required performance and cost metrics for the business. Sourcing of parts with new and existing vendors. Identify and establish new vendors to be utilized by the business. Establish and maintain all T&Cs for all orders placed and ensure compliance by vendors. Establish good relationships with key vendors to build strong partnerships. Monitor and correct inventory levels at outside warehouses (3PL) and internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital. Work with freight forwards and transportation companies to set the best route and rate (review and approve all freight terms and agreements). Collaborate with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers. Work directly with the sales department to determine the most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers. Establish, maintain, own, and drive department KPIs, derived from Business KPIs. Conduct inventory & purchasing analysis to identify opportunities for improvement. Research, create, graph, chart, design, and produce reports and spreadsheets for development of new capabilities as required. Lead the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed-upon KPIs and report on results. Proactively recognize and solve challenges affecting current and future ability to achieve production objectives. Adhere to and maintain compliance with Supply Chain budgets and business plans that support OTD/TAT. Support proper utilization of ERP system (Pentagon). Maintain the highest level of integrity and confidence of sensitive information. Provide leadership to direct and/or indirect personnel daily to the TAT group culture standards. Maintain ethical business practices and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws at all times. Operate according to Group Supply Chain directives and coordinate with Supply Chain personnel across the company. Maintain work areas with professional appearances. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) is preferred. Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within the aerospace or MRO industry. Must be able to read and understand technical data and drawings. Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (MRP experience required). Must be able to make business decisions and work with deadlines while understanding pressure. Must have the ability to work with people and communicate (both oral and written) effectively with other personnel and management. Candidate must always present professional behavior with customers, vendors, visitors, and business associates. Experience leading and building effective cross-functional teams to support overall organizational performance. Demonstrable experience leading and implementing lean/continuous improvement strategies and additional best-in-class manufacturing techniques to drive competitive advantage in quality, cost, and schedule. Candidate must have a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion. PREFERRED SKILLS: Extensive knowledge of the aerospace industry, preferably in MRO operations. FAA A&P license certification preferred. Prior experience leading or supporting cultural transformation is highly preferred. APIM Certified Production Inventory Management (CPIM) a plus.
