Job Title:
Director of Service Principal Duties and Responsibilities Leadership and Management:
Oversee and manage the HVAC service team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Operational Efficiency:
Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency and productivity. Customer Relations:
Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction. Safety and Compliance:
Ensure our safety culture is encouraged and enforced to maintain our goal of Zero Accidents. Inventory Management:
Manage inventory and ensure necessary parts and equipment are available. Budgeting and Financial Oversight:
Budget and manage labor & indirect cost. Responsible for signing off on bid temps and proposals. Service Strategies:
Develop and implement service strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth. Union Relations:
Establish and maintain relationships with union representatives. Mentorship:
Manage and mentor the service manager and operations manager, providing guidance and support as needed. Performance Monitoring:
Monitor service performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve service efficiency and quality. Client Relations:
Establish and maintain relationships with key clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded. Department Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of service delivery. Industry Trends:
Stay current on industry trends and best practices to improve service offerings continually. Minimum Qualifications: A degree in a related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in HVAC commercial service management. Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and equipment. Leadership and team management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven track record of driving business growth and customer satisfaction. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
