Job Description
As a Program Manager and member of the Program Management Office (PMO), you will partner with talented and accomplished teams and executives to help grow and scale our Research and Engineering departments. This is a generalist role where your contributions will range from strategy operations to project management to business intelligence. You'll work closely on a daily basis with leaders in our Research and Engineering departments, helping them to implement strategic initiatives and to foster a culture of excellence. This role is a means to make a difference: you will be an indispensable part of ensuring the effectiveness of our technical organization and its ability to deliver against ambitious roadmaps.
Responsibilities
Work closely with senior leadership to define goals and prioritize strategic and operational ideas.
Proactively plan, execute, and oversee complex, cross-functional projects by managing scope, time, resources, budget, risks, and communication to ensure successful project completion.
Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives, track key performance indicators, and provide regular reports to the leadership team.
Conduct research and analysis to support strategy development, implementation and data-driven decision-making. Improve delivery of teams.
Support the development of strategic frameworks and methodologies to enhance the organization's ability to implement strategies successfully.
Design, implement, and manage workflows and processes around newly established initiatives.
Coach and mentor junior members of PMO staff.
Requirements
Minimum of 5-7 years of program or project management, strategy operations, or other related work.
Intellectually curious explorer interested in learning about and solving a broad variety of business challenges.
Exceptional demonstrated collaboration, coordination, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills.
Adept at identifying issues, evaluating potential solutions, and implementing strategies to overcome challenges.
Ability to adjust to changing priorities, strategic requirements, and unexpected circumstances in a dynamic environment.
Ability to cultivate positive relationships with various technical and non-technical stakeholders in order to facilitate collaboration and achieve objectives.
Organized executor capable of independently managing multiple workstreams on schedule with high attention to detail.
Demonstrated drive to leave things better than you found them.
Intermediate-level Excel skills.
Familiarity with team collaboration software, such as Jira and Confluence or similar.
Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with OKRs and strategic planning processes.
Business intelligence and analytics experience.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban; Scrum Master experience a plus.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $180,000 in the location(s) of this posting. Individual salaries are determined through a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Base salary does not include other forms of total compensation, such as bonus compensation and other benefits. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D insurance, 20 days of paid time off, 9 sick days, and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
