A financial firm is looking for a Data Analyst to join their team. This role is remote. Pay: $45/hr USC only - will go through L2 background Responsibilities: • Elicit and document business requirements. • Translates business requirements to technical requirements. • Produces actionable dashboards in Power BI and/or Tableau and reports that show key performance indicators; identify areas of improvement for processes, products, or services. • Responds to ad-hoc requests and provides reporting solutions across multiple business areas. Creates and maintains specifications for reports and analyses based on business needs and required or available data elements. • Generates ad hoc reports or data extracts, dashboards, canned reports, and regular datasets for end-users using system tools, queries, and scripts. Integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements. • Identifies areas of improvement in data collection processes or systems and make recommendations to correct any deficiencies. Qualifications: • Diverse professional work experience in data visualization, data analysis, Tableau, Power BI • Proficient in SQL including Complex SQL joins, inline tables, complex business logic • Advanced Calculations in Tableau • Demonstrated experience in analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, operational excellence, communication (written and verbal), stakeholder management, interpersonal, and self-management skills. Experience with Agile development methodologies. • Experience with Cloud technologies such as Aws, Azure with an emphasis on serverless architecture. -Tableau reporting experience is a must - parameters and advanced calculations using tableau is key -The team uses scrum - they want someone with agile experience -Proficient in SQL including Complex SQL joins, inline tables, complex business logic -Analytical thinker with strong communication skills -Experience with Cloud technologies such as Aws, Azure
