Regional VP/ President

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to assume the role of Regional VP/President of the New York Division. In this pivotal position, the successful candidate will lead the strategic growth and operational excellence of our multi-office operation, ensuring a strong and sustainable presence in the Geotechnical and Construction Materials Testing sectors. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of leadership, business acumen, and technical expertise to drive performance and foster innovation within our organization. Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional growth strategy aligned with organizational goals and industry trends. • Provide visionary leadership to multiple offices, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Identify emerging market opportunities and capitalize on trends to enhance the organization’s competitive positioning. Operational Excellence: • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry regulations. • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize project delivery, resource allocation, and client satisfaction. • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Client Relationship Management: • Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions. • Collaborate with the business development team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our client base and market share. • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty. Financial Management: • Assume accountability for the financial performance of the regional operation, managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting. • Implement cost-effective measures and revenue enhancement strategies to maximize profitability. • Monitor profit and loss statements, identify areas for improvement, and take corrective actions to ensure financial targets are met. Profit/Loss Analysis: • Conduct in-depth analysis of profit and loss statements, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement. • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to develop strategies for maximizing profits and mitigating financial risks. Team Development and Talent Management: • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of professionals, promoting a culture of learning and growth. • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and knowledge-sharing. • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance team members’ capabilities. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Geology, Engineering, or related field. • Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership role within the Geo-Material. • Demonstrated success in managing multi-office operations and driving strategic growth. • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets of similar scale. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
