BASIC FUNCTIONS
The Jr. Data Analyst/Engineer will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of the Company’s data infrastructure, business intelligence reporting, and data science efforts. As part of Blue Raven’s Digital Services team, this role will support data driven decision-making across the organization. This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out all assigned tasks.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Develop and optimize processes for integrating data from various sources into Domo and our Data Mart.
- Assist in building and maintaining data visualizations and dashboards using Domo, ensuring they align with business objectives.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Assist in the production of ad-hoc data reports based on business needs.
- Conduct regular checks to validate data accuracy and integrity within Domo dashboards and reports.
- Maintain clear documentation of data workflows, Domo configurations, and analytical processes to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Work closely with members of Digital Services, business users, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure effective delivery of data solutions.
- This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out all assigned tasks.
STANDARD REQUIREMENTS
Comply with all requirements of International Standard ISO9001 and ISO27001, NIST 800-171, CMMC – Cyber Security and Informational Data Security Requirements. Aerospace Management System Standards AS9100, AS9120, IDEA-QMS-9090, ASA-100 and supporting construct standards AS6081, IDEA-STD-1010, AC7402-CAAP, CCAP-101, FAA AC00-56, ANSI/ESD S20.20 and C-TPAT. All employees shall commit and comply with the requirements of AS5553 for Counterfeit Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical (EEE) Parts – Avoidance, Detection, Mitigation and Disposition practices.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / COMPENTENCY
- Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for analyzing data sets and drawing meaningful conclusions.
- Skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset with a willingness to contribute to a positive team environment.
- Programming experience (Python, JavaScript, R, MATLAB).
- Understanding of SQL for querying databases and building pipelines.
- Exposure to data integration processes and ETL concepts.
- Familiarity with Domo or other BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc) is preferred or experience with presenting data interactively (d3.js, etc).
- Experience with DevOps practices (git/vcs, CI/CD, automated testing) is a plus.
