First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Product Manager to join our Consumer Products Team. In this role, you will be responsible for marketing and management of Card Services Division's consumer and small business products including credit card, debit card, HELOC, and loans/lines. Key functions include acquisition strategy, campaign execution, and product development including pricing and offers management.
Essential Position Accountabilities:
Product Strategy and Marketing
- Supports product strategy with the goal of driving profitability through acquisition, usage (wallet share), and retention. Develops and executes acquisition and engagement promotions in partnership with marketing, compliance, branch, digital, and operational teams and ensures product messaging (inclusive of disclosures) is consistent and appropriate throughout the entire customer lifecycle.
Product Development and Profitability
- Ensures product suite will attract and retain customers and maintain adequate financial return by monitoring industry trends, influencing pricing and fee strategy and partnering across the organization to manage risk/reward tradeoff.
Portfolio Data Analytics and Customer Targeting
- Provide analytical perspective for account performance, portfolio trends, and customer behavior.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (hours may vary)
Compensation:
The annual salary range for this role is: $75,000 - $100,000 per year; commensurate with experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent work experience required.
Additional education/coursework in a technical field such as Computer Science, Math, Statistics, etc. a plus.
5 years’ experience in marketing, finance or business analysis, including 2 years’ experience managing consumer products or services supporting product development, or operating in a project management capacity executing change. Experience may be an equivalent combination of professional experience or education.
Consumer lending, payments, banking, or marketing experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of the overall banking structure and the relationship between various lines of business.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to enable effective working relationships with key partners.
Successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and be able to manage competing priorities.
