The Director of Manufacturing is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing operations within the organization. The Director will lead a team to ensure that production goals are met efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Duties - Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with company objectives and drive operational excellence. - Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production schedules are met while optimizing resource utilization. - Lead and mentor the manufacturing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. - Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to enhance product quality and reduce costs. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency and implement corrective actions as necessary. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, promoting a safe working environment for all employees. - Manage budgets related to manufacturing operations, including labor, materials, and overhead costs. - Drive initiatives for process improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
