Project Director
is responsible for the day-to-day contract operations under the Child Welfare Training Collaborative (CWTC), which also includes and is not limited to: Training for Adoptive Children (TAC), and the State of Hope (SOH), projects. Supervise personnel matters such as: hiring, termination, performance evaluations, staff training, coaching and merit increase recommendations. Review and approve new programs or recommend modifications to existing programs. Evaluate programs for fidelity, effectiveness, efficiency and utilization. Implement new and innovative grants. Support the inclusion of emerging technologies. Ensure that activities comply with policies and guidelines of the University and partners. Seek local and federal funds for new projects and seek additional MOU's with new partners. Work with partners and contracted agencies to create and ensure completion of deliverables. Represent the program at professional conferences and agencies. Serve as a consultant to DFCS education and training section. Prepare reports for funding agencies and other required organizations. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree and seven years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience. Preferred Hiring Qualifications: A master's degree or a combination of work experience, training and education may be substituted for degree. Experience in management, curriculum development and social work in the child welfare system. College/Business Unit:
