Racing & Muscle Car
group,
including
Dragzine, EngineLabs, Chevy Hardcore, Street Muscle Magazine and Horsepower Wars.
A deep passion for automotive performance is a must. As
Content Director, Racing & Muscle Car , you’ll oversee content across five websites, social media, and video channels, while managing and mentoring a team of 5-7 creatives. In this role, you will develop and refine engaging content ideas, inspire your team, oversee project and vehicle builds, and ensure high content standards through rigorous editing and quality control.
You’ll set the content direction
to maintain quality, popularity, and credibility across each brand, working collaboratively with the
leadership team and sales director
to align content goals with business objectives. Responsibilities Oversee content strategy & production—written, video, and social—across all platforms, acting as an ambassador for the automotive community to ensure authenticity and uphold our brand voice. Drive project ideation and car builds that captivate and inspire fans, creating standout stories that engage our audience. Enforce rigorous content quality standards, maintaining a consistent style, tone, and brand voice. Strengthen advertiser relationships by understanding their goals and creating innovative, engaging content that supports both their needs and our audience’s interests. Occasional travel is required. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years in automotive media, content production, or marketing. Proven track record of leading creative teams and driving results. Expertise in creating high-quality content across text, photo, and video. Preferred Qualifications Strong storytelling skills with a knack for engaging audiences. In-depth knowledge of social media and experience crafting impactful content. Solid background in automotive performance, especially racing, engine performance, and muscle cars. Proficient in video production and audience-driven storytelling. Job Details: This full-time position is based in Temecula, California, with flexible hybrid or remote opportunities for high-performing candidates. We determine compensation by looking at market benchmarks and taking into account role, background, skills, and experience to place employees within a fair market range. For this position, the salary range starts with a base of $75K - $115K annually. We provide a full benefits package, which includes contributions toward medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), as well as paid time off, holidays, and sick leave—all to help support your well-being and work-life balance.
