Procurement Manager
to join our dynamic Supply Chain team and play an integral role in ensuring an uninterrupted flow of material/parts to the shop floor. The candidate will lead a dynamic team of procurement buyers that are responsible for placing purchase orders for all types of materials, parts, components, equipment and commodities for just-in-time deliveries. Responsibilities:
Major Duties & Responsibilities Reviews Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders for FAR, DFAR's compliance and overall value. Ability to work with a sense of urgency and lead by example. Effectively serve as first point of escalation to resolve pricing and lead time challenges with suppliers. Develop and execute negotiation strategies for pricing agreements and Long Term Agreements. Provide guidance on effective source selections to ensure compliant awards. Utilize metrics and KPIs to effectively evaluate supplier performance. Performs price analysis as needed. Ability to present to senior leadership team as needed. Qualifications:
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree. Eight (8)+ years of experience in purchasing and/or government procurement. Three (3)+ years’ experience in Supply Chain leading people. Experience with use of ERP/MRP systems. Strong understanding of contract terms and conditions, FAR, DFARS, and risk mitigation strategies. Demonstrated ability to achieve positive results through influence, negotiation and change management. Ability to develop sound relationships in internal and external customer organizations. Effective communicator both orally and in writing. This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license). Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Preferred: Masters’ Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the aerospace and defense industry. SAP experience is strongly preferred. Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and MRP systems. Salary Range:
$137,574 – $237,000
annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Employment Transparency:
