is seeking a

Division Chief, Pulmonary

Medicine

at

Lenox Hill Hospital

in New York City. Fellowship training and Board Certification in Pulmonary Medicine as well as at least 5 years of experience is required. The Division Chief will be expected to provide clinical, educational, and administrative leadership for our division. This exciting position offers the opportunity to lead and develop the division at LHH, in conjunction with the Joint Chief of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. Qualifications: Completed an ACGME-accredited residency and be board certified. Outstanding administrative, communication and management skills and an ability to work collaboratively with medical staff, hospital administrative leadership, and residents. Previous division, department, or residency program leadership. Must possess recent experience in generally accepted and currently used methods and techniques. Northwell Health Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Programs: Northwell Health Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Program started in the 1980s and has grown to 14 dedicated full-time physicians at LHH. Our programs are nationally and internationally recognized for expertise in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine, and we boast innovative clinical research. We have specialized centers for interventional pulmonology, pulmonary hypertension, advanced lung disease, cystic fibrosis, non-CF bronchiectasis, asthma, lung transplant, interstitial lung disease and sleep medicine. A comprehensive, multicenter lung cancer screening program is headed system wide by Lenox Hill physicians. LHH has ten pulmonary and critical care fellows. The position offers leadership role in the Lung Institute’s Western Region as well. Lenox Hill Hospital Lenox Hill Hospital is a 652-bed, acute care hospital located on Manhattan's Upper East Side. The bronchoscope suite and sleep center at LHH are state of art and recently constructed. All equipment covering the entire spectrum of interventional procedures is state of art. The division enjoys collegial relationship with its thoracic surgical colleagues since both divisions are in fact part of the lung center. There is close cooperation with cardiology who co-manage the pulmonary hypertension program. Why choose us?
