5+ years of senior executive level leadership experience within a multi-faceted healthcare services business Master’s degree required, along with a bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field Proven business development track record Strong knowledge of integrated healthcare management strategies, delivery models, and experience developing strategies to drive related growth initiatives Prior experience building high-performing sales and marketing teams with a focus on accountability and collaboration Responsibilities
The Vice President of Business Development will build and manage the business development team and drive annual growth through increased sales and new business generation The Vice President of Business Development will also serve as a core member of the company's executive leadership team Oversee the development and execution of the organization's sales and new business growth strategy Identify and develop strong relationships with partners and other potential parties key to the company's growth, especially in the payor, system, and provider spaces Track and expand key relationships over time to partnership opportunities Develop and implement the appropriate policies, procedures, and systems in place to support strategic growth Establish effective relationships with executive leadership based on awareness of healthcare industry trends, healthcare management strategies, healthcare revenue cycle landscape, and knowledge of the company's business, strategy, plans, and performance Drive organizational capability by building highly committed, capable and agile sales and marketing teams, coaching and mentoring incumbents and/or bringing in additional talent as needed The Vice President of Business Development (VP) is a newly created role that will be responsible for setting and executing the strategic growth strategy for a healthcare services company.
