We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced dental assistant to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, with a passion for patient care, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of their work.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canals.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring that all materials are properly cleaned and maintained.
• Take digital x-rays, intraoral photos, and other diagnostic images as needed.
• Record and maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical history.
• Educate patients on oral health care, including proper brushing, flossing, and other preventative measures.
• Assist with front desk duties, such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and verifying insurance information.
• Provide excellent customer service and patient care, ensuring that all patients feel comfortable and well-cared for during their visit.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; dental assisting certification or degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a dental office setting.
• Proficiency in digital x-rays, dental software, and other office technology.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
