Damascus Bakery is hiring: Porter Janitor | Sanitation in Newark

Keep the bakery (interior and exterior) clean and in orderly condition.

Janitorial work orders are provided daily. Structure or equipment details cleaning work orders are provided once a week during the down day for deep cleaning.  

DAILY JOB DUTIES:

·         Remove waste from production floor

·         Compact cardboard in baler machine

·         Clean offices, cafeteria, lockers, and rest rooms

·         Clean walls, and floors

·         Clean equipment, trays , and utensils

·         Wash trash receptacles

·         Any special assignment

DOWN DAY JOB DUTIES:

·         Clean equipment

·         Clean ceiling, over head pipes, or any other item requiring a ladder

·         Clean walls and floors  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work on weekends since our manufacturing plant operates 24/7
• Lift 50 – 80 lbs of waste.
• Work in warm (100 °ree;F) and dusty environment
• Reliable, has initiative, and can work alone.
• Flexible, able to work any shift
• Require to work sanitation down day cleaning.
