SLI is hiring: Equipment Operator in Ball Ground

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Transports tools and other construction equipment to and from construction sites.

· Inspects and fuels vehicle prior to beginning shift.

· Follow management directives and requests.

· Adhere to established procedures.

· Properly document work performed on equipment deliveries and pick-ups.

· Transport non-hazardous loads to/from landfills

· Occasional overnight travel may be needed

· Performs routine maintenance and repairs.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and capabilities.

· Excellent mechanical skills.

· Strong troubleshooting abilities.

· Strong interpersonal skills; team player; effective communication and collaboration.

· Ability to follow instructions.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Vocational school training or apprenticeship preferred.
