Our Opportunity:
At Chewy, we are building a team to launch a Sponsored Advertising business ! We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to build an outstanding outcome for shoppers, brand owners and Chewy! Advertising is a critical component of the ecommerce ecosystem and provides a critical revenue stream to the company. As a member to the Chewy Advertising team, you’ll be part of the core product leadership team, driving a collaborative and uniform product strategy for Chewy Ads. Along with the ads team, you will work on alignment across Chewy with teams including Marketing Analytics, Performance Marketing, and more.
As a key member of our Product Management team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategy and execution our Retail Media Network yield optimization. This role combines a deep understanding of advertising technologies, market trends, and user behavior to shape innovative products that increase bottom line performance across our entire portfolio of products.
What You'll Do:
Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for offsite advertising, aligning with overall business objectives.
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Design, to ensure successful product development and launch.
Champion a culture of collaboration and open communication to achieve collective
Own the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch
Conduct detailed market research and user feedback analysis to find opportunities for product
Drive the development and optimization of cross network yield optimization, working through multiple ML models to improve yield for Chewy.
Work closely with engineering teams and business collaborators to prioritize and implement feature
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure yield and regularly analyze performance data to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Apply data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies
Build and maintain positive relationships with external partners, vendors, and clients involved in offsite advertising initiatives.
Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, addressing inquiries and ensuring alignment with product goals.
What You'll Need:
Experience in ML models is a requirement
Experience in Advertising is preferred
8 years minimum in a product management role
Sustained track record of driving business value and improving product with data insights, especially in advertising, growth, marketing or relevant domains
The ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal mentorship
The ability to communicate the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner
Excellent analytical abilities with proven experience turning data into actionable insights
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with end-to-end product delivery
Experience supplying to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Ability to analyze, communicate and present metrics optimally to support recommendations
Ability to think creatively, complete a roadmap, build consensus and momentum
Strong writing and verbal communication at the executive level
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in SQL and/or Tableau
Compensation & Benefits: Our salary range for a Senior Product Manager position is
$134,500.00 - $215,000.00 . The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k, and a new hire and annual equity grant. We offer different types of insurance, such as medical/Rx, vision, dental, life, disability, hospital indemnity, critical illness, and accident. We offer parental leave, family services benefits, backup dependent care, flexible spending accounts, telemedicine, pet adoption reimbursement, employee assistance program, and many discounts including 10% off pet insurance and 20% off at Chewy.com. Salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
