Position Overview:
UTS BuildPros is seeking an experienced, licensed Master Electrician to lead and execute electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential and commercial construction projects. Beyond technical expertise, this role also includes responsibilities for driving business growth through building client relationships and generating new sales opportunities. This position will collaborate closely with construction teams to ensure safe, code-compliant, and effective electrical solutions on all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Competitive hourly pay starting at $38 - $50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Additional incentives for meeting sales targets.

This position will collaborate closely with construction teams to ensure safe, code-compliant, and effective electrical solutions on all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Systems Installation and Oversight:
- Perform and oversee all aspects of electrical work, including installations, repairs, upgrades, and troubleshooting for residential and commercial sites.
- Ensure that all electrical systems meet and exceed local, state, and federal codes and standards.
- Interpret and apply technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to guide installations and repairs.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Generate New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue potential clients, contractors, and builders within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to expand UTS BuildPros’ client base.
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the management team to create effective sales strategies, set sales goals, and adapt approaches to meet targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build strong, lasting relationships with clients. Represent UTS BuildPros at networking events, participate in local trade organizations, and engage in community projects to enhance brand visibility.
- Project Proposals and Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations that demonstrate the benefits of UTS BuildPros' services. Tailor presentations to meet each client’s specific needs, showcasing our commitment to quality, safety, and expertise.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Train and mentor apprentice electricians and junior team members as needed.
- Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and other tradespeople to maintain project timelines and ensure a seamless client experience.
- Partner with internal teams, including project managers and estimators, to ensure each project meets client specifications from the outset.
- Texas Master Electrician License (Required)
- Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- 7+ years of experience in electrical work, with both residential and commercial project experience
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes, and regulations
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical plans
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication, leadership, and client management skills
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with project management or supervisory roles
- Sales experience, especially within the construction industry
