About the Role:
As a Program Evaluator supporting our Federal government client, you will be trusted to develop, lead, and perform studies, analyses, and evaluations across a wide variety of grant-related domains to support agency goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities include
(but are not limited to):
Manage and evaluate programs and determine program objectives; develop work plan to implement an evaluation study; conduct assessment, measurement, and deliver effective communication and presentation of results and recommendations. Responsible for developing and implementing best practices in data collection methodologies and analyses. Lead collaborative and relationship-building efforts across relevant internal and external stakeholders to support successful evaluation and assessment efforts. Responsible for the writing and editing of routine and ad-hoc research and evaluation reports; policies and procedures; technical papers; and other written products necessary to support the performance requirements. You will work onsite in Washington, DC. Telework may be an option dependent on contract requirements.
Required Experience/Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy or a related discipline and 6+ years of professional experience. Demonstrated mastery of evaluation theory, concepts, standards, methods, and tools to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of federal grant programs, policies, and organizations. Proficient experience and knowledge of federal grant-making policies, procedures, and administration. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, strong audit experience, and demonstrated experience leading stakeholders through the strategy and process to define evaluation needs. Must be detail-oriented and think logically. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to keep up with new business and technical concepts. Able to work with minimal supervision and possesses strong team leadership and risk management ability. US citizenship and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability. Preferred Experience/Skills:
Familiarity with key federal evaluation policy and guidelines, including OMB M-20-12 and the Evidence act. Don’t think you have everything for this role but are still very interested? Approximate Salary Estimate: $98,000 - $122,000 annually. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range of candidates hired.
