Park Place of Elmhurst , a Providence Life Services community, is seeking an
Executive Director, Full Time
for our community in Elmhurst, Illinois. Our mission is to enhance the lives of those we serve in the name of Jesus Christ.
The Executive Director is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operations of the community in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The campus provides a spectrum of care options: Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Long-Term Care. This individual must possess a sincere passion for working with seniors, as well as have demonstrated success in a leadership role, including exceeding financial and operational goals.
Responsibilities:
Direct the day-to-day functions of the Campus in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Consult with department directors concerning the operation of their departments to assist in eliminating/correcting problem areas and/or improvement of services.
Oversee department directors in their application of policies and procedures and ensure that all directors are current in their assigned policy and procedure reviews for their areas of responsibility.
Implement policies and procedures of Providence Life Services for the management and operation of the Campus.
Hold weekly department director meetings and create accountability for department directors to also conduct regularly scheduled meetings with their staff.
Function as the campus on-site Risk Manager responsible for overseeing day-to-day monitoring of client safety and risk management activities.
Ensure that the Competitive Analysis, Marketing Action plans, and Lead development efforts are comprehensive, timely, and address the needs of the campus.
Maintain reliable employee attendance covering normal business hours and any additional requirements of their position. Cover the needs of the campus in the case of emergencies.
Review and interpret monthly financial statements and provide requested feedback on plans to correct variances from budget to corporate leadership.
Create and maintain a system that includes reviewing client complaints and grievances throughout the campus to ensure action is taken. Evaluate plans to ensure that systemic change happens for areas of potential system failures.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Administration, Business Administration, or a health-related degree is required.
Illinois Health Facility Administrator licensure or qualification for such preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an executive capacity in a hospital or Senior Living organization with a proven track record of success. Must possess a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator’s license in the state of operation or meet the licensure requirements of the State and be ready to obtain full licensure within 3 months of hire.
Must have the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, clients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
