Job Requirements Minimum Years of Experience: 1YR Traveler Experience: Accepts 1st time travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: MED/Surg, Telemetry-remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Team, IV insulin protocols, Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care & management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin, PCA, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral Suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac Minimum Certs: BCLS Skills Checklist 1 Schedule Information Shift: 12 hr NIGHTS; 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48 hours. Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays RTO: 7 days MAX; No Christmas RTO Floating Requirement: Floating required Weekend Requirement: 12-16 per contract Scheduling Type: based on unit needs Unit Orientation: 24 hours Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.
