Industry Entertainment Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is on the lookout for a passionate and dynamic Director of Development to spearhead strategic fundraising initiatives across diverse revenue streams, including individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, and government sources. In this pivotal role, you will craft and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies aimed at achieving our revenue objectives, oversee grant applications, coordinate special events, and broaden our donor base. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership skills, with a proven track record in engaging and collaborating with Board members. A deep enthusiasm for the arts and a successful history of fundraising within non-profit organizations, especially in the performing arts sector, is essential. As the Director of Development, you will play a key role in envisioning and directing long-term financial sustainability while being a member of the senior leadership team. You will work closely alongside the Executive Director, Artistic Director, and Marketing Director. Your responsibilities will include: Building and nurturing relationships with board members and donors. Providing strategic leadership for fundraising efforts. Managing a talented team of development professionals. Implementing post-pandemic fundraising stability strategies. Delivering exceptional donor service and stewardship with empathy, kindness, and humor.
