What we need
We are seeking a Project Manager for the Warehouse Systems team who will be responsible for the planning and successful delivery of the team’s roadmap, which consists of several implementations during project durations. As the Project Manager for the Warehouse Systems team, you will own the team’s deliverables and represent the team at company-level planning and status reporting meetings, as well as providing updates on individual customer’s deliverables through the Product Management and Sales organizations.
What you’ll do
Planning, tracking and communicating project status to internal and external stakeholders.
Act as the SCRUM Master of multiple Agile Product teams, facilitating grooming, stand-ups, communication and decision making with the team.
Planning and tracking Beta Testing and User Acceptance Testing in partnership with Product Owners.
Responsible for the ongoing development of the team within the agile framework and continuous improvement of software development processes, quality and quantity of work delivered.
Build a highly functioning team by leading the team in best practices for Project Management.
Manage the department and team plans by establishing clear goals, holding staff accountable, and participating in regular feedback dialogs with staff members. Manage corrective action as appropriate.
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development and engineering leadership.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in the role of delivery manager or program manager.
Experience leading an agile scrum team at a fast-paced technology company.
Ability to troubleshoot details while maintaining the “big picture” view.
General knowledge of hardware and software technologies related to Symbotic’s products.
Ability to understand complex technical issues and facilitate resolution. Ability to communicate well with internal and external technical audiences and triage issues based on priority, impact, risk, and release timing.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage high-pressure situations and build trust with stakeholders.
Ability to input into product strategy in the context of Symbotic’s business strategy.
Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous issues.
Outstanding time management skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, “Find a way to get it done” attitude.
Our Environment
Up to 50% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
