Job duties of the Property Accountant Role:
Ensure monthly mortgage payments, journal entries, and deposits are made.
Reconcile monthly bank accounts and prepare monthly financials.
Report, analyze, and interpret financial and operating data for management.
Assist with performing year-end audits and document requests for the auditors.
Review financial data for accuracy. Identify problems and support day-to-day accounting operations.
Maintain communication with assigned communities to answer questions and effectively resolve issues.
Attend training classes as scheduled and assigned.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications preferred for the Property Accountant Role:
Minimum 3 years of property accounting experience.
Experience using Yardi Voyager and or RealPage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
