Position Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Payroll Specialist to oversee full-cycle payroll processing for a diverse workforce, which includes up to 800 employees.
Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:
Full-Cycle Payroll Processing:
The Payroll Specialist will accurately process payroll for up to 800 employees, focusing on multi-state and union payroll.
Union Payroll Expertise:
The Payroll Specialist will manage payroll for approximately 300 union employees, ensuring strict compliance with CBAs and company policies.
Project-Based Payroll:
Handle complex, project-based payroll across different divisions, including processing terminations as required.
Excel Proficiency:
Use advanced Excel functions like pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros to analyze payroll data and generate insightful reports.
Complex Payroll Situations:
The Payroll Specialist will manage and resolve complex payroll issues, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications of the Payroll Specialist:
3+ years of experience in payroll processing, with a strong emphasis on union payroll.
Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now.
Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
Union payroll knowledge is a plus!
Outgoing and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Comfortable working in a rapidly growing, dynamic environment.
