As a Payroll Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
Managing payroll operations for up to 300 employees across multiple states.
Handling garnishments, deductions, and filing payroll taxes, including setting up new tax jurisdictions as needed.
Collaborating with HR on open enrollment, employee onboarding, and processing election changes.
Assisting with month-end reconciliations and journal entries.
Ensuring compliance with Davis-Bacon rules.
Taking initiative in owning the payroll process and managing a variety of tasks with varying levels of volume.
Utilizing Excel for data accuracy, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
