RN Labor and Delivery position available in Austin, Texas, working within the hospital system Ascension Health at the TXAUS Asc Seton Med Ctr Aus-30002. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high volume delivery service. Preferred candidates will have 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high volume delivery service, along with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, and desirable qualifications such as a S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification and an Advanced or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Required Credential(s): BLS Provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse Texas license - Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). - Advanced Life Support. Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification. Preferred: Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification. Unit Specific Information
At least 2 years of high volume Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience required. Additional Details
Nursing only Michigan hospitals need their licensure verified through LARA not Nursys but you will still upload here. Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals. Vaccines or Positive IGG Titer requirements outlined. Influenza vaccine mandatory for new travelers starting Sept 4th, 2023, updated annually.
