Minimum Years of Experience: 1YR Traveler Experience: Accepts 1st time travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: MED/Surg, Telemetry-remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Team, IV insulin protocols, Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care & management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin, PCA, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral Suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac Minimum Certs: BCLS Skills Checklist 1 Schedule Information
Shift: 12 hr NIGHTS; 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48 hours. Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays! RTO: 7 days MAX; No Christmas RTO Floating Requirement: Floating required Weekend Requirement: 12-16 per contract Scheduling Type: based on unit needs Unit Orientation: 24 hours Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.
