We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Event Assistant to support our event planning team in coordinating and executing successful events. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As an Event Assistant, you will be responsible for providing logistical support, managing event-related tasks, and ensuring everything runs smoothly before, during, and after events. Key Responsibilities: Event Coordination Support:
Assist in the planning and organization of events, including meetings, conferences, and corporate functions. Logistical Assistance:
Help organize transportation, accommodations, and other logistics for event attendees and staff. Registration and Guest Services:
Manage guest lists, assist with attendee check-in, and address guest inquiries during events. Event Setup & Breakdown:
Assist in setting up event venues, ensuring that equipment, decorations, and signage are in place, and help with post-event cleanup. Administrative Support:
Prepare event materials, track supplies, and maintain schedules for event timelines. On-Site Assistance:
Provide support to event managers and coordinators during events, ensuring that everything runs according to plan. Post-Event Tasks:
Assist in compiling feedback, reviewing event outcomes, and helping with post-event correspondence. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is a plus. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Knowledge of social media platforms and event marketing tools is a plus. A team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
