Summary of Position

The Production Material Handler is responsible for moving our finished goods and raw materials both inside and outside the plant. This person will be expected to operate both sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks to move items to their staging areas and appropriate areas. In addition to this, Material Handlers will be expected to prep materials for use by production including unwrapping, unloading and unboxing raw materials from pallets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely Unload, move, and store materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment following proper procedures. Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently. Assist with wrapping and strapping finished goods. Collaborate with other departments to fulfill internal material requests in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and housekeeping standards. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Qualifications

Skills

Experience in warehouse operations, including material handling. Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Traits

Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks. Dependable and punctual with good self-management skills. Team player and able to work collaboratively with others. Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic warehouse environment. Able to stand, squat, kneel and walk for 8+ hours a day Able to lift 25 lbs. boxes Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior Forklift certification required Prior experience in warehouse operations or material handling is preferred. Additional Information
