SCHEDULE: - Full-Time - Flexible Options - Limited On-Call
CLINIC HOURS: - Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm
COMPENSATION: - $400,000 Base Salary - Generous Incentive Bonus Plan - $20,000 Sign-On Bonus - $10,000 Relocation Bonus - Malpractice Insurance w/ Tail - Health / Dental / Vision / Life Insurance - 401k - Full Package Negotiable - 1099 and W2 Options
LOCATION: Beaumont, Texas
COMPANY PROFILE: This organization is a physician-owned medical practice specializing in the care of expectant mothers and newborns. They were founded in 2016 by a small group of neonatologists and have grown to more than 100 providers serving patients in multiple states. Their team of board certified specialists stand by the core ethic that medicine should be the delivery of consistent, continuous care for mothers, babies, and their families. The practice combines a national infrastructure with local support, using their breadth and depth of clinical and operational resources to allow their physicians to spend more time on delivering high-quality care.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position is employed by a private practice and based in a brand new outpatient clinic attached to a world-class medical center. While new, this is already a busy practice and offers a significant amount of flexibility for the new physician.
The role will begin as a clinic-based position and ramp up to include hospital-based work. Surgical days are scheduled per physician preference.
A typical schedule is 4.5 days a week:
- Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm - Friday, 8:00am to 12:00pm
Physicians do an average of 20 deliveries per month, with incentives for higher production, and the hospital boasts a spacious, modern birthing center.
The practice uses an EHR and clinical assistants are available to assist providers in all settings.
On-call is evenly shared between eight (8) ob/gyn physicians. During the day, physicians are on-call for their own patients and, at 5:00pm, on-call transfers to the assigned after-hours physician.
REQUIREMENTS: - Texas medical license - DEA - Board Certification or Eligibility, Ob/Gyn - no experience required - new graduates and fellows are welcome to apply
