Job Description: Engineering Document Control Specialist
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-focused Engineering Document Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing, organizing, and managing all engineering documents related to assigned projects. Your primary duty will be to ensure that documents are up-to-date, properly versioned, and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic engineering environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee, organize, and manage engineering documents for designated projects. Ensure documents are current, correctly versioned, and accessible to relevant parties. Maintain document control systems and ensure compliance with company standards. Collaborate with engineering teams to create and update documentation. Implement and enforce document control procedures and best practices. Required Hard Skills:
Proficiency in SOP, SWI, and P&ID. Experience in creating documentation for high-speed machinery. Expertise in drawing document control. Familiarity with document management systems and electronic CAD software. Strong understanding of document control principles, standards, and best practices. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in document control within an engineering environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. About Actalent
