THE OPPORTUNITY
YES Prep Data Collections team needs a detail-oriented Data Partner, with a diverse set of experiences to make our mission a reality. To put it simply, you will coordinate and support data collection by monitoring, partnering and supporting campuses' data entry, training and reporting district Public Education Information Management Systems (PEIMS) data, and ensuring student and business data complies with Texas Education Agency (TEA) requirements. The close partnership with campus will ensure the accurate and timely collection of district data.
THE ROLE
When you join the YES Prep team, some of the exciting work and responsibilities will include:
Campus Data Intervention(Leadership)
Collaborating with Home Office data owners to eliminate errors and missing data; Identifying work that impacts campus data accuracy and delegate accordingly to campus personnel; Maintaining registrars and operations coordinator informed on new requirements and deadlines; Ensuring district's data integrity and accurate state reporting; Work closely and partner with District Registrar in order to maintain campuses in compliance; Maintaining a constant communication channel between the Home Office and campus operations stakeholders that ensures alignment with actions and progress; Identifying campus areas of need, like membership reconciliation, and auditing attendance, and support during vacancy; Campus Support & Training (Support)
Setting expectations, goals and perform mid-year and end of year evaluations; Monitoring your individual campus cohort made up of ~15 schools (each data partner is responsible for a set number of YES Prep Schools); Providing in person support, handled in a timely and satisfactory manner Participating in and present Professional Development; Creating and updating training material and resources; Supporting with Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) submission,
Coordinate with multiple district office teams to collect, organize, and format data required for PEIMS submissions; Generate PEIMS reports for central office, campus, and partnership staff; Manage and monitor campuses on Texas Record Exchange (TREx) processes and submissions; Assist PEIMS Manager with data validations for all submissions;
Monitoring and validating campus manual Transaction and Daily summary logs; Supporting campuses with Texas Student Data System (TSDS) UID Database/TSDS Enrollment Tracker (ET) discrepancies; Supporting campuses with TSDS near-match discrepancies; Serving as liaison between Data Collections team and Student Information Systems (SIS) team; Collaborating with Special Programs team leaders (e.g., special education, Emergent Bilingual) to review and validate data; Assisting PEIMS Manager with data validations for all submissions; Training and onboard data entry staff; Auditing campus data and outline next steps; Additional duties as assigned. Compensation - This position is a non-exempt, hourly position; offers commensurate with experience. Health and Supplemental Insurance - A $0 monthly medical option that includes $600 towards a Health Savings Account, in addition to a variety of supplemental benefits including Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, etc. Employees must work 20+ hours a week to be eligible for a full spectrum of benefits, and 10 hours a week minimum for medical benefits. Retirement Plans - Participation in Teacher Retirement System of Texas and a 457b Retirement Plan. Paid Time Off - Employees working 20+ hours a week receive 15 days of Paid Time Off in addition to the system closures during the Academic Calendar. Paid Leave Programming - In the event you need to be out due to medical needs (including maternity and paternity leave), YES Prep offers paid leave, paid out at 100%, based on eligibility and tenure.
