Position: Head of HR and Operations Location: Katy, TX (Onsite) Experience: 8+ years in HR, Operations, and staffing, particularly in consulting or service-based firms Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Head of HR and Operations to lead our human resources and operational functions, with a specific focus on staffing and talent management within a consulting or service-oriented environment. This strategic leader will oversee HR operations, Contracts and business operations, ensuring that our organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent while optimizing operational efficiency to support company growth. Key Responsibilities HR Leadership and Strategy: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on recruitment, talent development, performance management, and employee engagement. Operations Management: Manage and optimize business operations, including workforce planning, resource allocation, and process improvement to ensure efficiency and scalability. Employee Engagement and Culture: Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture by implementing initiatives that support employee satisfaction, retention, and professional development. Talent Development: Design and implement training, career development, and leadership programs tailored to the needs of a consulting and service-based workforce. Performance Management: Establish and manage performance evaluation processes, helping managers and employees set, track, and achieve performance goals. Compliance and Policy Development: Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies and oversee the creation and revision of HR policies in line with industry best practices. Compensation and Benefits Strategy: Oversee compensation and benefits programs to remain competitive within the industry and support employee needs. Collaboration with Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on HR and operational matters, providing insights and solutions to support strategic goals. Contracts Management: Review contracts for staffing and services and finalize contracts and maintain central repository for the same. Work alongside with offshore team on the same as needed. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in HR and Operations roles, with a focus on staffing, recruitment, and employee management within consulting or service-based firms. Proven experience in strategic workforce planning and operational optimization. Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance. Experience with performance management, employee engagement, and HR policy development. Proficiency with HRIS systems like Ceipal, knowledge of QuickBooks and data analysis for HR metrics. Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Masters degree or HR certification preferred). Soft Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with diverse teams and stakeholders. Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex HR and operational challenges. Strategic mindset with the ability to balance big-picture thinking and attention to detail. Work with offshore teams as needed. Coordinate on office suppliy needs and travels for employees and management and identify best outcomes while being cost efficient. Maintain the branding of the company on social media and work with marketing team in establishing the image and brand for the company.
