Nurse Manager (RN) - Progressive Care Neuro Trauma Unit (PCNT)

We're seeking an exceptional Nurse Manager (RN) to lead our Progressive Care Neuro Trauma Unit (PCNT) in Portsmouth, NH. This pivotal role involves collaborating with the PCNT Director to provide strategic leadership and ensure the delivery of exceptional care to critically ill patients. Key Responsibilities - Oversee high-quality patient care delivery and evaluate optimal outcomes in a critical care environment - Manage daily operations, including staff scheduling and patient-team rounding - Ensure patient and family satisfaction through effective communication and care coordination - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and administrative staff - Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide mentorship to nursing staff - Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies Qualifications and Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required - Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License - Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) - PCCN, TNCC, and TCAR certifications preferred - Minimum 3-7 years of acute care nursing experience in a critical care environment - Demonstrated supervisory experience in neuro trauma care - Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills About Portsmouth, NH Portsmouth is a charming coastal city known for its rich history, vibrant cultural scene, and excellent quality of life.
