Job Summary
The HR Manager for Warehouse & Distribution in Southaven plays a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, supporting a productive and positive workplace, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Reporting to the Head of HR North America , this position oversees HR operations at the distribution centers, collaborates with the leadership team, and provides hands-on support to drive employee satisfaction and operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Strategic Partnership : Collaborate with the Southaven and Canada leadership teams to address HR needs, align strategies with business objectives, and foster a productive and positive work environment.
- Team Leadership : Oversee the HR Generalist team, ensuring effective support for recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, engagement, and compliance.
- Talent Management : Lead recruitment efforts for manager-level roles and implement onboarding strategies that enhance retention and integration.
- Employee Engagement : Design and execute site-specific programs that recognize achievements, boost morale, and align with WAI's growth-focused culture.
- Compliance : Ensure adherence to labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies, mitigating risks while maintaining regulatory standards.
- Training & Development : Coordinate and deliver training programs for employees and leaders, focusing on workplace policies, compliance, and leadership skills.
- Employee Relations : Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations issues, providing solutions that align with business needs and employee well-being.
- Operational Excellence : Support the leadership team in driving efficiency and fostering collaboration across departments.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience :
- 6+ years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role within a distribution, warehouse, or high-volume operational environment.
- Proven success in employee relations, talent acquisition, and compliance.
- Skills :
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred) and MS Office 365, including advanced Excel skills.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels.
- Languages : Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is strongly preferred.
