The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. has an outstanding opportunity for a board certified or board eligible Infectious Disease Physician to join our actively growing division. The candidate would be primarily responsible for inpatient I.D. consults, the antibiotic stewardship program, and also to assist in establishing and providing an outpatient I.D. clinic on campus of the Medical Center. The successful candidate will be eligible for an academic appointment in the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine based on experience and credentials and in that capacity participating in medical resident and student teaching The opportunity for clinical research is also available The ID service encounters a broad and varied mixture of Infectious Disease issues. This is a full-time hospital employed position with compensation to be based on experience, productivity and quality goals A full and extensive benefit package is also offered.
